Nina Bharadwaj, MPAS, PA-C


Nina was raised in McKinney, Texas. She received her degree in psychology and dance from Tulane University in New Orleans, Louisiana where she graduated summa cum laude. She then went on to attend physician assistant school at the University of North Texas Health Science Center at Fort Worth and earned her Master of Physician Assistant Studies (MPAS) degree. Nina is board certified by The National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).

In her free time, she enjoys hiking, yoga, camping, and trying new restaurants.

Q&A with Nina Bharadwaj, MPAS, PA-C


1. What drew you to medicine?

Medicine allows me to interact with a variety of individuals and help them have a better quality of life. I also enjoy that medicine is a challenging field that is constantly evolving.

2. What are your passions outside of work?

I was a dancer growing up, so that is definitely one of my passions. I also enjoy hiking, traveling, yoga, and trying new restaurants.

3. What’s your favorite restaurant?**

Snooze and Koji sushi are two of my favorite restaurants.

4. Who would you consider to be a role model and why?

My mom, dad, and sister are my role models. They are incredibly hard working and my greatest support system.

5. What’s your favorite movie or book?**

The Proposal is one of my favorite movies.

6. What was the last TV show you binge-watched?

I’m currently binge-watching Suits.

7. What do you enjoy most about being a Medical Provider?

I enjoy seeing how patients improve over time.

8. What is the best advice you have ever received?

Surround yourself with people that support you.

9. If you could have a conversation with any person or character who would it be and why?

I would love to have a conversation with my uncle who passed away when I was much younger.

10. If you could only eat one food for the rest of your life, what would it be?

If I could only eat meal for the rest of my life it would be spaghetti and meatballs with garlic bread.
